1. What kind of experience do you have as a photographer?

I’ve been capturing little ones and providing families with memories they’ll cherish forever for more than 7 years. However, my passion for photography started as a teen when I became obsessed with portraits. After studying a photography degree in Spain and working as a photographer in Europe and USA for a few years I discovered my true passion for newborn photography while working in a Studio in Sydney.

2. What type of photography do you specialise in?

I specialise in newborn, maternity, toddlers, children and family photography. I am very proud of being praised as a baby whisperer by my clients and admired for my patience and warm nature with the little ones.

Newborn sessions are very special for me, and being known as a baby whisperer with a unique style means that most of my bookings are for this type of session.

However, I love when I get older baby's or children and I can capture those cheeky smiles and their personality shining.

3. Where are you located?

My studio is located in Joondanna – a convenient 10 minute drive north of the City of Perth.

4. When should clients book their photography sessions?

The best time to book your newborn session is in your second trimester. My available slots each month are very limited with most of my bookings done several months in advance – so it’s always best to get in touch as soon as possible if you have decided you’d like me to capture your newborn! Once we book a tentative date your spot with me will be guaranteed and you’ll be able to re-schedule the date if bub comes early or late or if something comes up.

5. What kind of prices and packages do you offer?

I offer very affordable packages as well as AfterPay services as I want every family to afford beautiful and special photos of their baby. All packages include print-ready high resolution digital images. My packages are clearly displayed on my website www.lifetimememories.net.au with no hidden charges or additional fees. There is a deposit to secure your date which is deducted from your chosen package. You can find digital packages including the session time for as little as $290!

6. How should customers prepare for their photography sessions?

I provide all the props for the newborn session, so you don't need to worry about having to source them. I have a range of bonnets, beanies, outfits, tiebacks and wraps for bub and super cute props to create magical scenes. Before starting the photoshoot ill ask you some questions to make sure bubs photos are perfect for your family – taking into consideration which examples you like from my portfolio, your favourite colours, preferred styles and any special requests you might have.

7. What should customers expect during a photography session?

Melted hearts of course, as we pose and style your little one into the cutest positions and settings. The newborn sessions are super special and I provide a comfy sofa for the family to spectate as I create and capture the magical moments. The sessions can last between 1 to 3 hours depending on your chosen package – this allows time for soothing, feeding and changing the baby to make sure the experience is stress free. You will get out of your session a lot different prop shots, natural baby focussed shots, and family and sibling shots. Family and sibling shots are part of the packages so everyone is encouraged to be photo-ready. All the images are guaranteed to capture the special bond between you and your family, encompassing the arrival of the newborn.

8. How do you ensure safety of the newborn during the session?

Safety is my top priority and I ensure all poses of bub are safely captured and use composites if necessary. I will only pose the baby into comfortable positions suitable for their age and ensure their well being throughout the session. I am always up to date with my vaccinations including whooping cough and Covid. Your tiny newborn will be handled with utmost care and tenderness.

9. How soon will customers be able to get their photos?

The turnaround time between photoshoots and edited high-resolution images is 2 to 3 weeks. You will receive a link to an online private gallery where you can select your favourite images for your package. Your gallery usually has between 20 and 40 images to choose from depending on your chosen package. Once selected I will do final touches and send them in around one week.
