1. What kind of experience do you have as a photographer?

I'm Josie from Evoke Studios, I have been photographing full time for 18 years. I started in Weddings and as my couples families grew I love seeing them again and again celebrating all their amazing milestones, maternity, newborns, 1st birthday's and families. I just love baby cuddles am excited meeting new families what every stage they are in their journey.

2. What type of photography do you specialise in?

I specialise in Newborn & Maternity photography, with awards in both these categories. I also offer cake smash & family portrait sessions.

3. Where are you located?

Our Studio is located in Springwood QLD, our studio is fully equipped with all the props and lighting allowing us to offer sessions 7 days a week including evenings. On location sessions are also available in your local park or favourite spot. We travel 45 min any direction from our studio. For those that can't travel we also offer in home sessions.

4. When should clients book their photography sessions?

The best time for your Maternity session is when you are 32 - 34 weeks. Weekend session book out fast so the earlier you can book the better. For Newborn session I suggest between 7 - 14 day old. We book you a tentative session based on your due date to secure you a spot then confirm it once baby has arrived.

5. What kind of prices and packages do you offer?

Choose between a la carte or a collection.

A la Carte - Session $120 then you choose the photos you love individually from $65 for digital photos.

Collections - Start from $700 and include session, digital photos and an album or wall art. Our most popular collection is $1550 with session, Album, 30 digital airbrushed photos.

6. How should customers prepare for their photography sessions?

We provide all props and wraps for your newborn session however love to include any precious items you may want included. Before your session you will have a phone consultation so we can prepare the styling for your session to make it truly unique to you and your family. Before your session I will send you a guide on how to prepare baby for their session.

7. What should customers expect during a photography session?

We include baby, parents & siblings during your session. Depending on how baby is feeling allow 3 hours for your session. You will also have the option to view your photos same day.

8. How do you ensure safety of the newborn during the session?

I am fully vaccinated. All props are washed or sanitised after every session. Our studio is air conditioned for the comfort of you and baby. Safety and comfort of your baby is our number 1 priority so not every baby will be comfortable with every pose so we are experienced in taking cues from baby to get best results safely.

9. How soon will customers be able to get their photos?

You may choose your photos same day or select them from an online gallery. Once you have chosen your photos they will take 2 weeks for delivery of digital files. Albums take approximately 3 weeks from you approving the layout. Photos are airbrushed to remove skin imperfections, flakey skin etc.

10. Do you have anything else you would like to tell us?

Your session is all about having fun with your family while creating precious memories. Our session are customised to what you want, whether it's a theme, colours or matching your home decor. I will be your photographer from the start to final part of the process offering a truly personal experience.
