1. What kind of experience do you have as a photographer?

Hi I'm Kelley, owner & photographer at Rule of Thirds photography.

I'm passionate about photographing babies & children of all ages & have been living my dream of owning my own studio for over 8 years, with a total of 17 years experience in the industry. I'm also fully immunised and trained in baby/infant CPR & safety. The comfort of you & your precious little ones are my number 1 priority.

I love both studio & outdoor photography & offer a wide variety of options to suit your style, everything from natural at home sessions to beautiful props like my very popular carousel horse & vintage car. I also have Santa in the studio every year for special Christmas photos. I would love to make some beautiful memories for you. Kelley

2. What type of photography do you specialise in?

I specialise in the following types of sessions, newborn, maternity, sitter, kids, and cake smash.

3. Where are you located?

I have a beautiful studio at Old Petrie Town on the north side of Brisbane. It's a perfect location for both studio & outdoor photography. We have Sunday markets here every week so feel free to pop in & say hello.

4. When should clients book their photography sessions?

I recommend we pencil in a date around your due date, this will secure a spot and then once the bubs is born, we can schedule in a specific date for the newborn session within the 3 weeks of birth.

Maternity photography is best done between 30 and 35 weeks.

Newborn photography is best done between birth and 3 weeks but things don't always got to plan so We can always do a little later if needed.

Baby photography is usually done from 12 weeks to 1 year. My absolute favourite baby sessions are the sitter session, when your little one is sitting unaided and not yet running away from me.

Cake smash photography is usually best done around the birthday month just in time to celebrate a little ones first birthday.
