1. What kind of experience do you have as a photographer?

Hi I'm Kristal, I have been working with families capturing fun, joyous and loving moments for over 10 years. I am often asked how I started working with babies and well, it just sort of happened!

2. What type of photography do you specialise in?

Click With You Photography is a boutique family portrait studio specialising in maternity photography, and newborn photography Brisbane.

3. Where are you located?

The cosy home-based studio is located in Inner City Brisbane, Fortitude Valley, just near the James Street shopping precinct.

4. When should clients book their photography sessions?

It is never too early to get organised. In fact, I encourage you to contact us to make your booking in your second trimester of your pregnancy. This will ensure we have availability for your special newborn baby and family portrait session around your due date, as we take limited bookings each month.

If you have left it later though please still get in touch as soon as you can, and we will do our best to fit you in!

Newborn photo sessions will generally go for around 2-3 hours, depending on how hungry or sleepy your little one is. We always allow plenty of time for nursing, extra cuddles and changing.

5. What kind of prices and packages do you offer?

Me and my team beautifully pose your brand new baby with you and your family. You’ll leave with a stunning collection of photographs that encapsulate some of your most precious moments to treasure in your home each day with a wide variety of packages and products to choose from.

Packages start from $495.

6. How should customers prepare for their photography sessions?

Our relaxed and comfortable home-based studio is fully set up with almost everything we’ll need. We do of course need you to bring lots of smiles and cuddles with you and your family!

We have a variety of props, blankets and accessories that you can choose from to incorporate into the styling of the photographs, but if you have any particular toys, family heirlooms or sentimental items that you would like to be included in the images, feel free to bring them along as well. If not, then all you need to bring is yourselves your beautiful newborn baby, comfort items, nappies, wipes and enough milk for your time with us.

7. What should customers expect during a photography session?

I work very closely with you throughout your newborn photoshoot to make sure you and your baby are comfortable, and the entire process is restful and enjoyable.

Your little one will sleep through most of the session, but may also work up an appetite because of the posing and holding, so please ensure you are prepared for extra feeding on the day and if you like feel free to bring expressed milk with you we are more than happy to refrigerate and heat it for you.

8. How do you ensure safety of the newborn during the session?

We pride ourselves on providing a very safe, welcoming, and comfortable space. I and my whole family are fully vaccinated.

With over 10 years’ experience photographing well over 1000 babies, and as a mother of 2, your baby is in safe and gentle hands.

9. How soon will customers be able to get their photos?

At Click With You Photography, we schedule in your viewing and design appointment for a mutually suitable time (generally within a week or 2 at most) following your session. Depending on the number of images and type of products that you order, usually you will receive your full order within 3-4 weeks.

10. Do you have anything else you would like to tell us?

As life changes and your family grows older, it’s important to be able to remember the little things. The little things are quite often the big things, and having special moments recorded is so important for children.

Our professional Family Photography service will help you capture and preserve some wonderful moments with your family. You can choose to visit our relaxed and comfortable studio or a fun outdoor location throughout Brisbane.
