1. What kind of experience do you have as a photographer?

Hey! I'm Loz, well it's Lauren but most people call me Loz, and I'm the woman behind the lens at McGill Photography. A mum of two and passionate photographer of 13 years. Previously in the corporate world, I found the love of photography while on maternity leave with my youngest and instead of returning to the office I created McGill Photography. I specialise in connected family images, usually at the beach at sunset, but also in the studio capturing your gorgeous new baby as well as milestones like first birthdays or soon to be births (maternity). I spend all of my spare time trying to be better, I invest heavily in training and believe that you can always improve. I strive for perfection and LOVE delivering gorgeous images for my clients.

2. What type of photography do you specialise in?

I specialise in studio newborn and cake smash photography as well as outdoor sunset beach family and maternity photography.

3. Where are you located?

My studio is in Kurnell, just 7 minutes drive from Cronulla located in the Sutherland Shire, Sydney. The studio has plenty of on street parking available as well as a bus stop directly out the front. And just 100m down the road is the beach that I shoot at for all of my evening sessions - I never tire of capturing that gorgeous colourful sky in the evenings!

4. When should clients book their photography sessions?

Sooner is always better! I try to accommodate everyone however I do book up pretty heavily, even shooting 5 days a week, it can sometimes be hard to guarantee a booking on a preferred date. 5. What kind of prices and packages do you offer?

All of my packages offered are inclusive of digital images. I don't have session fees seperate to digital image packages. Pricing depends on the session type however Cake Smash sessions start at $295, Newborn & Maternity at $425 and evening beach sessions $695. Full pricing information can be found on my website www.mcgillphotography.com.au I promise not to pressure you into buying more that you booked for. I keep your images safely stored on a server should you wish to purchase additional images down the line, however it's entirely up to you. You control what you spend. My clients come back to me time and time again, I like it that way, so will always take of you.

6. How should customers prepare for their photography sessions?

Session guides will be emailed to you with your booking confirmation to help with wardrobe, prepare you for how the session will run and what to expect with your gallery ensuring a smooth easy process.

7. What should customers expect during a photography session?

A professional, but fun, experience with lots of fart sounds and silly faces haha!

8. How do you ensure safety of the newborn during the session?

Years and years and thousands spent on training to ensure your baby is absolutely completely safe during your session. I have a working with children check. I am vaccinated for whooping cough and Tdap and will NEVER hold your session if I am unwell. Your baby and your family's health is my number 1 priority.

9. How soon will customers be able to get their photos?

Gallery's are usually available within 48 hours of your session and edited images are usually delivered within 1-2 weeks of your order being submitted.
