Karicare Plus 2 Follow On Formula Review

Karicare Plus 2 Follow On Formula Review

If you trying to figure out which formula to feed your baby, then you are faced with a wealth of choice.

There are just so many different products out there.

I noticed that when you research formula products, every brand’s website that you go into pops up an alert box first, which I found really interesting.

The box outlines that breastfeeding your baby is the best choice and explains why, and you have to agree that you have read the box before you can go further into the website and get any more details about the formula.

It’s a requirement that all formula suppliers do this, and with good reason; breastmilk has been created by nature for the specific purpose of feeding your babies.

This is why you have breasts in the first place.

Do you want your products to be reviewed by our expert mothers?

It is your most nutritional, and also the cheapest option for feeding your baby, better for your baby and better for you.

But a lot of mothers can’t breastfeed. It doesn’t actually matter why not, mothers who have to formula-feed their babies do not need any extra guilt placed on top of the weight of this decision.

If you are one of these mothers, and you are staring at the alert that popped up on the formula website, please try not to let these things add to any concerns or guilt you may already be feeling.

Everyone just wants to make sure that you have the best available advice.

From six months of age, you will start feeding your baby solids, and the breastmilk/formula slowly decreases as the source of nutrition.

You still need this supplement however; you shouldn’t switch to cow’s milk until your baby is at least 12 months old.

If breastfeeding is not possible, when your baby is between six and twelve months of age, you need to buy a follow on or stage 2 formula to make sure she is getting everything she needs.

Karicare+ 2 Follow On Formula is a great middle-of-the-range product. It complies with Australian standards (as all formula sold in Australia must), so is well tested and contains all the nutrients your baby needs in a supplement right now.

At 16 listed nutrients for your baby, it does contain less than some other products, but importantly will still give your baby what she needs.

If your baby has no dietary requirements, this is a great product for you. It is easy to use, well-priced and most babies seem to love the taste.

It is made from cow’s milk, so contains lactose and animal proteins, but if your baby doesn’t have specific digestive needs that get in the way of these ingredients, then I recommend using Karicare.

Details, Preparation and Use

Check the ingredients to make sure that there is nothing your baby has allergies to, but other than that, you should know there is a healthy balance of nutrition contained for a baby’s needs.

The formula is a mixture of nutritionally complete ingredients and vital vitamins and minerals.

There is also a range of other ingredients that promote optimal growth and development.

1. Vitamins

At this stage of development, your baby needs a range of vitamins to help them grow and give them energy.

Vitamin C is for the growth and repair of all body tissues, blood vessels, bones and teeth, and Vitamin D is also essential for bone development.

Vitamin A mainly promotes the development of your baby’s vision, while B1 or thiamine helps your baby to convert the new foods into fuel for his changing little body.

2. Minerals

Your baby needs a number of minerals for optimal health, including calcium, iron, folate, magnesium, iodine, and zinc.

These help with the strong growth of the tissues, blood vessels, bones, and brain, as well as fighting off infection.
